We seek a detail-oriented and motivated Insurance Receivables Specialist to join our team 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process denied claims.
  • Maintain effective communication with insurance companies and clients.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to insurance payments.
  • Prepare and analyze reports related to receivables and authorization status.
  • Provide quality customer service to clients and insurance representatives, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as needed.
  • Follow up on outstanding claims, resolve denials or rejections, and work to obtain prompt payment.
  • Obtain and manage Medicaid authorizations for services and 90-day treatment plans.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Collect copays, coinsurance, and balances due.
  • Obtain and manage EAP (Employee Assistance Program) authorizations and billing.
  • Welcome clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Comply with insurance standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in insurance receivables, claims processing, authorization management, and customer service.
  • Proven experience in Medicaid health care programs.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • High School Diploma
