Job Title: Family Preservation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Preservation Specialist to join our team. As a Family Preservation Specialist, you will provide the full range of foster care and/or adoption casework services to children and families to maintain children in the family home or achieve permanency in the family of origin, extended family, or a foster/adoptive family.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Presents cases for staffing and conducts family-child team meetings.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with other service providers, schools, and healthcare facilities to promote the child(ren)'s well-being.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related human services field.
  • State licensing/certification as required by the State of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
  • Background check clearance, both criminal and CANTS.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Valid Illinois drivers' license and proof of automobile liability insurance required.
