Employbridge is now hiring for a PART-TIME Human Resource/Payroll Administrator in Troy, MI

 

Shift: 1st Shift (5 hours per day)
Pay: $30/hr
Part-time (about 15-29 hrs/week); possibility of full-time in the future
Previous experience is required

 

Role and Responsibilities:
-Responsible for all daily administrative functions.
-Process and maintain all payroll,  insurances, & 401k records.
-Oversee the hiring process and onboarding (job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews).
-Address employee grievances, promote a positive workplace culture, and manage conflict resolution. 
-Identify training needs, organize professional development programs, and facilitate employee growth. 
-Enter and maintain information to Paychex for payroll, employee attendance, vacation and sick records. 
-Participate in reviewing/reconciling month-end closing of payroll. 
-Effectively support, communicate, and update executive management on all human resources and payroll matters. 
-Create and distribute all employee communications and handle company lunches/parties. 
-Administer unemployment, compensation and disability claims.

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
-College degree or equivalent experience in human resources and payroll. 
-Solid understanding of human resources and payroll principles. 
-Must be kept up-to-speed with employment and labor laws.
