$63,000-$70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and factors such as relevant experience, education, certifications, and skills.

Job Description

As a Payroll & Benefits Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the payroll and employee benefit functions company-wide in the USA. Your responsibilities will include maintaining payroll processes, managing benefits administration, and providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll data, adhering to legal and company requirements.
  • Manage benefits enrollment, terminations, Qualified Life Event changes, COBRA, beneficiary changes, STD/LTD, and life insurance claims.
  • Support the Annual Open Enrollment process and ensure seamless communication with employees.
  • Serve as the primary contact for payroll and benefit sites and software, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Audit benefits within the system, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Cross-train and conduct centralized payroll processes for hourly and salary employees according to pay calendars.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute reports for Human Resource and other functions related to payroll and HRIS.
  • Accept assignments and other responsibilities to support team objectives.
  • Adhere to applicable QS9000/TS16949 requirements and safety and environmental (ISO 14001) standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of experience in full-cycle payroll and payroll administration.
  • Knowledge of benefit administrations with multiple providers.
  • Experience with full-cycle HRIS, including reporting.
  • Familiarity with payroll laws and regulations.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and general ledger principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
