Anticipated Start Date: 12/09

Expected Duration:  6 months 

Job Type: Contract with possible extension

Shift:Position is hybrid, Mon and Friday 8:30AM-5PM  at home. Tue-Thurs will need to be in office.

Interview process: 1 in person and 2nd interview virtual

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr on W2

Need: 2–4 years of relevant experience. in INSIDE Sales and Lead Generation

 

Job Description:

Product Information Specialist

The primary objective of this position is to identify and convert new business opportunities for Client. Success is achieved through persistence, high volumes of outbound calls, and consistent email communication with prospects and targeted accounts. The role focuses on generating new business, incremental revenue, and testing volume opportunities by executing outbound call campaigns. This is a business development and lead generation position. Once a lead is identified, it will be handed off to a member of the sales team for follow-up and execution.

 

The primary role of a Product Information Specialist is to sell goods for wholesalers or manufacturers to businesses or groups of individuals. Specialists demonstrate products and explain how these products can benefit customers by reducing costs and/or increasing sales.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Driving Business Through Phone Marketing Campaigns: Inside Sales Executives (ISEs) will engage in sales campaigns via phone to generate leads, secure new business, and convert testing opportunities. This involves making 40+ outbound calls per day.

Lead Generation: As growth opportunities emerge through phone relationships, ISEs will collaborate with inside representatives to distribute qualified leads. These leads may include:

Clients expressing interest in additional testing options following a phone conversation.

Participation in lead generation calls with field representatives to identify accounts that require additional support throughout the month.

 

Recommend products to customers based on their needs and interests.

Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain features, and solicit orders.

Estimate or quote prices, credit terms, contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.

Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Negotiation and customer service abilities.

Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showcasing, promoting, and selling products or services.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent training.

2–4 years of relevant experience.
