Administrative Assistant

Job SummaryThe Administrative Assistant will independently plan, organize, and schedule more complex administrative support tasks. This role will coordinate and implement administrative functions, assist lower-level employees, and manage moderately complex data entry. The assistant will apply detailed knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and infrastructure to support operations and resolve issues under minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance and training to lower-level employees.
- Collect, organize, and enter documentation and data into various systems.
- Apply knowledge of departmental operations to perform moderately complex administrative processes.
- Handle complex clerical, administrative, and technical tasks, escalating only the most challenging issues as necessary.
- Provide support to procurement department staff of 4.
- Manage payment detail inquiries from vendors and handle resolutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Four years of related work experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (basic skills).
- 10-key data entry experience.
- 2-3 years of office support and administrative support experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience.
- Experience handling vendor payment inquiries and resolutions.
