Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team at AHU Technologies Inc. This role involves the design, deployment, and management of Azure Government cloud services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Architect and implement Azure Gov IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS solutions tailored to meet organizational needs.
  2. Take a hands-on approach to establish and maintain the Azure Gov Cloud environment, including migrating workloads from on-premises solutions.
  3. Oversee product and platform architectures, ensuring all projects align with the architectural framework.
  4. Conduct thorough analysis and design of infrastructure and cloud data center solutions, focusing on computing, networking, routing, and security.
  5. Support and design solutions within cloud and virtualized environments, with a solid understanding of hybrid cloud architectures.
  6. Effectively communicate and promote the architectural vision across various teams.
  7. Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex projects.
  8. Develop a comprehensive cloud strategy and manage its implementation.
  9. Manage costs associated with Azure Gov services and implement a tagging strategy for cloud resources to support compliance and reporting.
  10. Demonstrate proficiency in core Microsoft technologies, including Windows, server administration, Active Directory, and SQL.
  11. Design, build, upgrade, and decommission Windows and Linux systems and services.
  12. Collaborate with third-party suppliers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  13. Create detailed documentation for diverse audiences while managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  14. Possess knowledge of RESTful APIs, Web Services, XML, and JSON.

Education:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  2. Equivalent combination of education and extensive work experience (10 years) is acceptable.
  3. Microsoft Azure Certification in specialized areas is required.
  4. ITIL V4 Certification is preferred.
  5. Agile SaFe/Scrum Master Certification is preferred.

Qualifications:

  1. At least 3 years of experience in designing and maintaining public/Gov cloud solutions, particularly with Microsoft Azure.
  2. Familiarity with IP subnetting, Network Security Groups, routing, Azure Firewall, and other networking concepts.
  3. Strong technical architecture skills to create complex global solutions.
  4. Minimum 3 years of experience in IT administration and engineering for Windows and Linux servers.
  5. Expertise in Azure CLI PowerShell, ARM Templates, and Azure Networking.
  6. Intermediate knowledge of Azure DevOps, Azure Security Center, and Azure Identity Management.
  7. Experience with cloud monitoring tools such as Azure Log Analytics and Azure Monitor.
  8. Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Infrastructure-As-Code and Continuous Integration/Deployment.
  9. Understanding of network technologies related to AWS.
  10. Knowledge of security policies and cloud security services.
  11. Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
  12. Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  13. Experience with relational databases, particularly MS SQL.
