Position Overview: As a Senior Application Security Architect, you will be instrumental in enhancing the security posture of our software applications. This role will report directly to the Director of Application Security and Testing.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Assess the security of both in-house and third-party software solutions.
  • Manage the security assessment pipeline and align development team expectations.
  • Review and analyze security assessment reports.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of security testing processes.
  • Develop innovative strategies to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated.
  • Oversee the use of various security tools and methodologies.
  • Provide regular updates on assessment metrics and vulnerabilities identified.
  • Establish security testing standards and conduct research on emerging security technologies.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 6 years of experience in application security or related areas.
  • Proven experience in application security testing across diverse domains.
  • Familiarity with security testing tools and methodologies.
  • Experience in software development, particularly in Java and PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of cloud security solutions and enterprise authentication protocols.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
