The Senior Vice President of Operations is primarily responsible for overseeing their respective divisions within our
PSSI Sanitation enterprise to guarantee the upholding of service quality standards while emphasizing team member safety, food safety, fulfilling and surpassing budgetary goals, and all other expectations as outlined in the
PSSI Mission Statement.

THE WORK YOU WILL DO:


As a Senior Vice President of Operations with
PSSI Sanitation, you will supervise the daily operations of your region, collaborating with cross-functional teams as you concentrate on operational excellence, service enhancements, and driving growth.

You will be a pivotal leader within the organization, exemplifying a culture of compliance, safety, and a People-first value system within your division.

This role will report to the Chief Executive Officer of Sanitation.

Additional responsibilities may include:
Regular communication with direct reports, including coaching, development, establishing performance expectations, and agreeing on performance goals and objectives to support succession planning in each division.
Guide teams in understanding the connection between strategic objectives and tactical priorities by providing ongoing feedback and formal evaluations during mid-year and year-end reviews.
Drive management accountability for performance in alignment with the
PSSI Mission Statement.
Plan, direct, and coordinate operations to support the Company’s growth while overseeing revenue generation to ensure sales growth expectations are met or exceeded.
Continuously improve the budgeting process through education and collaboration with department managers on financial matters affecting their budgets.
Ensure that standards for service quality, safety, team member relations, and performance are upheld while anticipating customer requirements, expectations, and needs.
Establish and maintain long-term and effective corporate customer and networking relationships through active involvement and participation in business, customer, and community boards.
Advise, negotiate, manage, and administer all contracts the Company may enter into, focusing on mutually beneficial outcomes.
Collaborate, communicate, and problem-solve with peers, cross-functional teams, and the executive group on strategic initiatives and action plans.
Stay informed on information, procedures, and technology affecting functional areas to enhance innovation and ensure compliance while fostering change related to continuous improvement.
Assist in special projects as requested by the CEO of Sanitation and company leadership.

YOUR MUST HAVES:
10+ years of operations-related experience in a food production/sanitation environment.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Working knowledge of government regulations (EPA, USDA, OSHA).
Proficient computer skills associated with Microsoft Office and basic skills required to learn new programs.
A valid driver’s license.
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

OUR ENVIRONMENT:


This position is primarily based in your home office, with travel to corporate headquarters, customer, or plant locations, which may require the use of PPE including safety glasses, hard hats, ear protection, and/or other protective equipment/clothing.

Walking, standing, sitting, and computer work are all required in this environment. Prolonged sitting during travel (primarily driving) is also necessary.
