Full-Time Position

This role requires an onsite presence, with a commitment to a 5-day work week.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong professional background in leading Public Accounting firms and hold an active CPA certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily financial department operations, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and practices.
  • Assist in the creation of financial documents, including statements and budget analyses.
  • Guarantee compliance with GAAP and relevant federal, state, and local financial regulations.
  • Establish and uphold internal controls and effective accounting systems for new business setups.
  • Manage the accounting department's operations, designing an organizational structure that meets departmental objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Controller and CFO to facilitate seamless financial operations.
  • Lead the presentation of financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and board members.
  • Support the rollout of new systems and procedures, ensuring SOX compliance.
  • Work with auditing services to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Develop financial plans and budgets based on thorough research and data analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including GAAP.
  • Familiarity with federal and state financial regulations.
  • Proficient in analyzing financial data and preparing reports, statements, and forecasts.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting methodologies.
  • Ability to inspire teams to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.
  • Proficient in automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
