Our expertise lies in leveraging the ArcGIS platform to create mapping, staking, and outage management tools that provide powerful and user-friendly functionalities. Position Overview:

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for supporting both external and internal customer applications and servers, ensuring they operate within established specifications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Building, deploying, configuring, and installing internal systems for various departments.
  • Addressing initial customer support inquiries that fall outside the scope of other support departments.
  • Troubleshooting application errors in collaboration with customers and third-party vendors.
  • Maintaining system operations by monitoring and adjusting user authentication, permissions, and records.
  • Resolving system issues by identifying causes and potential solutions, assisting end-users, and collaborating with fellow systems administrators.
  • Determining hardware configurations by analyzing system factors such as user numbers, reporting needs, transaction volumes, access restrictions, cost constraints, and security conditions.
  • Supporting help desk staff by resolving trouble tickets and confirming fixes with end-users.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and 3-4 years of IT experience, including:

  • Management of Windows Server environments.
  • SQL Server management with programming or T-SQL experience.
  • Network analysis and troubleshooting skills using tools like Pktmon, ProcMon, Perfmon, and Wireshark.
  • Management of network protocols.

Additionally, experience in the following areas is preferred:

  • Hypervisor management.
  • Backup strategies and disaster recovery planning.
  • Cybersecurity, ArcGIS Enterprise, and Active Directory management.
  • Domain controllers and DNS management.
