Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Adult Observation Unit. Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our fast-paced Adult Observation Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care to adult patients in the Observation Unit
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify their unique needs and develop effective care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or eligibility for licensure under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing (or ADN with a commitment to complete BSN within 5 years)
