Intensive Care Unit ICU Staff Registered Nurse RN Night Shift

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU) at Inova Loudoun Hospital.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in our 12-bed STICU unit. As a night shift ICU RN, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to critically ill surgical and trauma patients, including neurosurgery, vascular surgery, general surgery patients, and post-procedural patients.
Responsibilities:- Provide individualized patient care to critically ill surgical and trauma patients
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medications, and treatments
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance
- A minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required from American Heart Association
- Proficient in English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
