Job Title: Registered Nurse RN ICU Staff

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU) at Inova Loudoun Hospital.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in our 12-bed STICU unit. As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to critically ill surgical and trauma patients, including neurosurgery, vascular surgery, general surgery patients, and post-procedural patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized patient care to critically ill surgical and trauma patients
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medications, and treatments
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance
Requirements:
  • A minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting
  • Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing
  • RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required from American Heart Association
  • Proficient in English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others
