Intensive Care Unit ICU Staff Registered Nurse RN Night Shift

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU) at Inova Loudoun Hospital.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in our 12-bed STICU unit. As a member of our team, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to critically ill surgical and trauma patients.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill surgical and trauma patients, including neurosurgery, vascular surgery, general surgery patients, and post-procedural patients.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- A minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting, preferably in the ICU.
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required from American Heart Association.
- Proficient in English.
