Job Summary:

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a skilled Dining Room Server to join our team. As a Dining Room Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents while maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Service: Take food and beverage orders from residents and serve meals in a timely and presentable manner.
  • Dining Room Setup: Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
  • Resident Support: Handle requests from residents who require assistance with meal selection or have specific needs.
  • Dining Room Maintenance: Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal and assist with inventorying supplies.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Knowledge of Food Service: Must have knowledge of dietary procedures, as well as related Health Department regulations and guidelines pertaining to food service operations.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to serve food and beverages for residents in a prompt and efficient manner, and be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Work Environment: This is primarily a standing position, requiring the ability to stand in one place for extended periods of time.
