Key Responsibilities:

  • Run the dining room as if it were your own home, keeping it clean, organized, welcoming, and warm for all guests
  • Lead the front-of-house team to strive for hospitality excellence and bring energy to each shift to ensure guests feel comfortable, cared for, and ready to enjoy a home-cooked meal
What You'll Do:
  • Be the face of hospitality for the restaurant and lead by example with generous hospitality for your team, locals, regulars, and first-timers
  • Lead the front-of-the-house team towards hospitality excellence by communicating constantly and supporting and coaching the front-of-the-house staff in stellar service
  • Support in building, maintaining, and constantly improving the culture of the restaurant to be customer-obsessed
  • Drive FOH service, including greeting guests, running food to tables, conducting multiple table checks, monitoring guest flow, and more
  • Drive increased sales through at-register interactions and table-side interactions, with a focus on upselling
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant's menu, its products, and their source, as well as the details of the restaurant and neighborhood
  • Ensure the dining room is ready for service by performing pre-opening quality checks
  • Be ultimately responsible for maintaining a clean and spotless dining room, including bar counters and outdoor dining areas
  • Ensure that any guest-facing service stations are appropriately stocked and organized at all times
  • Ensure that table settings are up to standard/specification as determined by restaurant leadership
Requirements:
  • A customer-obsessed individual with 1+ year of experience in a previous FOH, concierge, or unique guest-facing role
  • A team champion who is always willing to help out and support the team in achieving team goals
  • A creative problem solver who takes an equally creative approach to making a guest's experience better in a unique way
  • A highly organized individual who exhibits discipline and desire to maintain systems and organization within fast-changing environments
  • A communication guru with excellent communication skills for managing up and providing detailed feedback to your team
  • A tech-savvy individual who can learn technological platforms and work systematically with them
  • A detailed and clean individual who has an eye for detail and loves operating a clean space
  • A flexible individual with a flexible schedule, especially throughout the first six months of the opening
  • An eager learner who has a desire for professional improvement and the process of learning
