Job Summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a skilled Dining Services Aide to join our team. As a key member of our dining services team, you will provide exceptional service to our residents and guests, ensuring a positive and enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient and courteous service to residents and guests in the dining areas.
  • Take resident meal orders and ensure accurate delivery of food and beverages.
  • Set up and bus tables, maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.
  • Assist with pre-service setup of tray-line and assemble individual meals on tray-line.
  • Ensure all shift duties are thoroughly completed before the close of each shift period.
Requirements
  • Relevant dining experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • One year of experience working in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills.
  • Full understanding and effective application of sanitation, foodborne illness, and cross-contamination policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of dining room operational procedures, etiquette, and resident rights.
  • Willingness to work with and interact with older adults.
