TRG is currently in search of a qualified Help Desk Analyst to offer programmatic assistance to the Military to Civilian Transition Office (MCTO).
The MCTO requires comprehensive research, analytical assessments, product development, documentation drafting, and strategic recommendations to assist Service members in their transition to civilian life. This includes pursuing vocational training, higher education, employment opportunities in various sectors, or entrepreneurship. Additionally, MCTO supports Reserve Component members and their families during pre- and post-activation phases. The office designs cohesive, outcome-oriented training and events to enhance the support provided to transitioning Service members and their families globally.
This role is currently hybrid, allowing work to be performed at various locations or remotely.
Security Clearance: Must meet the criteria for maintaining a critical non-sensitive position.
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be necessary.
Core Working Hours: Standard hours are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm EST.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Tier I help desk support for the DoDTAP website, ensuring all user inquiries are monitored and tracked.
- Create professional presentations, reports, user manuals, and memoranda detailing modifications to the TAP IT Business System, including user interface changes and functionality updates.
- Assist users by researching inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and analyzing performance trends.
- Provide solutions to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding them through corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Mandatory: Bachelor's Degree in a field related to Information Technology.
- Mandatory: At least 5 years of experience in providing Tier I Help Desk Support.
- Mandatory: Must be a US Citizen.
- Preferred: Local Military Veterans.
- Preferred: Prior experience with the Military to Civilian Transition Office (MCTO).
- Experience in developing professional presentations, reports, and user documentation.
- Proficient in data analysis and evaluation.
- Experience with IT business systems and excellent communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
