Telephone Survey Specialist

Decision Information Resources, Inc., a leading firm in research and evaluation, is on the lookout for dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to take on the role of Telephone Interviewers. This position involves engaging with participants for various research studies and ensuring the collection of high-quality data.
The selected candidates will undergo a comprehensive paid training program and must successfully complete a certification exam to demonstrate their understanding of the survey methodologies and protocols.
Ideal Candidate ProfileThe perfect candidate will possess prior experience in telephone interviewing and will be adept at adhering to specified error thresholds to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data collected. Experience in the survey research sector is highly desirable. Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in both Spanish and English, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Position DetailsThis is a part-time role that requires in-person attendance. Candidates should be prepared to commit to an average of 20 to 28 hours weekly, with availability for shifts during the following hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Ability to obtain Federal Security Clearance
- Exceptional reading skills with clear enunciation and a robust vocabulary
- Professional telephone demeanor
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with a diverse range of respondents
- Intermediate proficiency in computer skills
- At least one year of experience in call center interviewing is preferred
- Experience in survey research is an advantage
- Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic
- Capability to handle special projects as required
