Job Description

LPC Personnel, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Accreditation Specialist to join our team. As an Accreditation Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the credentialing and accreditation process in accordance with CARF standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accreditation Management: Oversee the preparation, submission, and management of all documentation required for CARF accreditation.
  • Survey Coordination: Coordinate and lead the organization through CARF surveys and audits.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with CARF standards and implement necessary changes.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance and improvement plans.
  • Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance with CARF standards.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data and prepare reports on quality metrics and outcomes.
  • Credentialing: Manage the credentialing and re-credentialing process for staff and programs.
  • Record Management: Maintain up-to-date records of credentials and ensure timely renewals.
  • Staff Qualifications: Verify staff qualifications and licensures.
  • Educational Materials: Develop and disseminate educational materials related to CARF accreditation.
  • Policies and Procedures: Assist in the development and updating of policies and procedures to ensure they meet CARF standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with department heads to implement and maintain policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social work, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Master's degree (preferred).
  • Experience in accreditation, credentialing, or quality assurance, preferably within a non-profit or healthcare setting.
  • Experience with CARF accreditation processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of CARF standards and accreditation processes.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
