Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all federal and state environmental, health, and safety regulations, along with the safety policies and protocols established by the organization.
  • Leverage the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to ensure efficient workflow across all work centers to meet delivery timelines.
  • Prepare orders from the warehouse and production areas, ensuring all required materials, components, and tools are available and issued with the production order.
  • Confirm that tooling, gauges, and programs are accurately listed on production orders.
  • Arrange materials, components, and tools into comprehensive kits ready for setup, and transport job kits from storage to designated work areas.
  • Process and collect completed operations from machining work centers and execute the return process for tools and gauges to minimize waiting times between operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Production Supervisor regarding any orders or material issues that may impact the capacity plan or halt production.
  • Conduct work in alignment with the Company's Quality Policy (ISO 9000 and AS9100).
  • Implement 6S principles to maintain a tidy, organized, and efficient workspace.
  • Engage actively in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance workflows and minimize waste in material handling processes.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications:

Education/Certifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills and Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient understanding of departmental processes.
  • Basic computer skills (preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (preferred).
