Position Overview:D-Fend Solutions Inc., the leading entity in Counter Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (c-UAVs) and Counter Drone Technologies, is on the lookout for a skilled pre-sales engineer to bolster our expanding North American team.
The pre-sales engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and operations, driving sales opportunities, showcasing our products, training customers and sales personnel, providing technical support, and aiding in the achievement of our sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as a subject matter expert on our product offerings, assisting sales managers in identifying and qualifying customers' technical needs.
- Demonstrate the technical and operational capabilities of the D-Fend product line, addressing all customer inquiries satisfactorily.
- Facilitate a seamless transfer of information to the Professional Services Team to prepare for client engagements and project implementations.
- Share insights gained about customer environments, systems, and risk profiles to enhance future engagements.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, effectively showcasing the company's offerings to potential clients.
- Manage Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) and relevant field trials, ensuring effective communication with customers and internal teams.
- Continuously gather information on new customer requirements and industry developments to identify new sales opportunities.
- Availability for a full-time, in-office role.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, serving as a subject matter expert during customer meetings and technical discussions.
- Proficiency in conducting system demonstrations, including setting up equipment in the field and troubleshooting as necessary.
- A technical/operational background in operating tactical/RF systems related to military applications.
- Strong self-directed learning and research capabilities, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Willingness to travel within North America as required.
