Position Overview:
We are in search of a proactive and innovative Senior Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer to enhance our distinguished design team. This role involves leading design teams and managing a diverse portfolio of projects, with the flexibility of a hybrid work environment.

Your Responsibilities:
As a Senior Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer, you will:

  • Analyze and assess system concepts to identify optimal design and engineering solutions tailored to project requirements.
  • Create detailed design drawings and specifications for plumbing and fire protection systems in high-rise residential, hospitality, performing arts, and office buildings, including comprehensive engineering calculations and equipment selection.
  • Lead and coordinate efforts with engineers, designers, technicians, and administrative staff.
  • Engage with clients and architects to address modifications to designs and specifications.
  • Collaborate with leadership to oversee design manpower budgets and adjust budgets to reflect project scope changes.

Qualifications:
We are looking for a highly skilled engineer with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with over 15 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design and management.

  • In-depth knowledge of code compliance and industry standards.
  • Strong technical, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in project and client relationship management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.
