Material Coordinator

The Material Coordinator is a critical role at Advanced Drainage Systems, responsible for the safe handling and transfer of raw materials to the warehouse or material silos. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Raw Material Handling: Transfer raw materials to the warehouse or material silos, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Optimizer Software Utilization: Utilize optimizer software to make a material blend, ensuring optimal results.
- Inventory Management: Perform regular inventory counts and reconciliations, maintaining accurate records.
- Quality Control: Conduct visual product quality inspections, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with production and yard supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Skills: Self-motivation, forklift and OTR vehicle driving skills, dependability, high organizational skills, written and verbal skills, detail-oriented, team-oriented, basic mathematical skills, and energetic.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand and be mobile for extended periods, and work in temperature extremes.
- Competitive Salary: $24.50 per hour, with individual pay may vary based on work location, shift, and factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
