Overview
As a key member of the Dallas County team, the Grants Management Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive planning, organization, and administration of various grants allocated to county departments. This role involves close collaboration with department leaders and administrative personnel to ensure adherence to all regulatory, funding agency, and policy stipulations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate, facilitate, and review grant proposals, ensuring they meet all necessary requirements.
2. Compile and analyze data related to funding sources and awards, maintaining accurate records.
3. Develop and sustain a countywide reference library that includes essential information on funding agencies, grant policies, regulations, and statistical data.
4. Conduct thorough research on potential funding sources and maintain ongoing communication with external organizations.
5. Provide timely insights and guidance on funding opportunities, requirements, and procedural matters.
6. Monitor the administration of post-award grants to ensure compliance with budgeting and administrative policies.
7. Assist departments and partners in drafting and refining grant applications for clarity and completeness.
8. Serve as a liaison with funding agencies, participating in discussions regarding grant applications and awards.

Qualifications
Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in fields such as English, Journalism, Public Administration, or Social Services.
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience.
Proficiency in standard software applications is required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to foster effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
Comprehensive knowledge of regulations related to grants and contracts administration, along with the ability to interpret guidelines and create budgets for grant proposals.
