Position Title: Resettlement Program Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily functions of resettlement initiatives, offering direction, leadership, and hands-on support in all service delivery aspects.
- Ensure the effective provision of essential resettlement services, adhering to all program standards and grant obligations aligned with the Reception and Placement, Matching Grant, and Preferred Communities program guidelines.
- Oversee the evaluation of program performance, including monitoring, reporting, financial oversight, and compliance for refugee initiatives.
- Provide training and leadership to staff, ensuring sufficient personnel to achieve all program goals.
- Maintain regular communication with leadership regarding program status, client progress, and outcomes, delivering timely updates on any management or compliance issues.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree is required, ideally in Social Work or a related discipline.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in refugee resettlement, with a preference for prior program management and staff supervision experience.
- Experience in managing federal and state grants, along with a background in program development and creation.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and team-building capabilities.
- Competence in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting program data to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with databases and information management systems.
- Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to draft and edit reports and interpret technical requirements clearly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, volunteer organizations, government entities, colleagues, and community members.
- Capable of performing data entry and maintaining necessary documentation.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret documents related to refugee settlement, program management, compliance, and safety regulations.
- Provide data for the preparation of regular reports.
- Exhibit compassion, empathy, and strong communication skills when interacting with clients.
- Apply common sense to manage multiple tasks and follow instructions.
- Prioritize and complete tasks punctually.
- Resolve issues related to social service operations.

Work Schedule:
Employees are expected to be available during core working hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., maintaining a full-time status of 40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary.
Travel Requirements:
As a national organization with operations across various states, candidates must be willing to travel for official assignments with minimal notice.
Transportation:
As a faith-based nonprofit organization, employees may be required to drive the organization's vehicle and must possess a clean driving record, as they will represent the organization.
Mandatory Training:
New hires will be required to complete mandatory training sessions, including HIPAA Rules & Regulations, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Health, and Environmental Protection.
