Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the Dallas College team as a Program Services Coordinator, Opportunity Youth. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive student services program that supports the academic and career goals of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs that promote student success, including recruitment, enrollment, and retention initiatives.
  • Design and deliver seminars, workshops, and other events that support student learning and career development.
  • Research and analyze data to track program participation, recruitment effectiveness, and student outcomes.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote student success programs and services.
  • Serve as a liaison between students and various instructional and student services departments to ensure seamless support and services.
  • Coordinate event logistics, evaluations, and presentations to promote student success programs and services.
  • Monitor budget allocations and assist in the solicitation of grant funds to support student services programs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to students, faculty, and staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree plus three (3) years of work-related experience.
  • Official transcripts required.
  • Current and valid driver's license for off-site travel.
  • Ability to work extended hours beyond the regular 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. workday, including nights and weekends.
  • Bilingual preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs.
Working Conditions

This position is located in a standard office environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to individuals with physical challenges to perform the essential duties and responsibilities. Work may involve the moving or lifting of light to moderately heavy equipment or materials. Occasionally may be required to lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
