Job Summary

The Administrative Coordinator II - Program Operations will assist with the planning and coordination of day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational activities for a defined funded program or project. This role will ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations, or other specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and schedule program work plans in accordance with specifications and funding limitations.
  • Oversee daily operations and coordinate activities of the program.
  • Determine priorities and ensure the service delivery network meets the needs of the intended population.
  • Coordinate activities of the program with interrelated activities of other programs, departments, or staff to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures, and specifications.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and develop improved methods.
  • Assist with grant and/or proposal writing as appropriate to the objectives and funding nature of the program.
  • Prepare periodic reports, financial statements, and records on program activities, progress, status, or other special reports for management or outside agencies.
Requirements
  • Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Public Administration, Accounting, Behavioral Science, or in a job-related field of study.
  • Skilled in the use of standard software applications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments, and the general public.
  • Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License and good driving record.
