Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at American Honda Motor Co Inc. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in leading our internal supply chain through analysis, problem-solving, execution, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accuracy of systems required to support production, including operation standards, parts, and logistics management.
  • Review and maintain daily reports to ensure manufacturing achievement and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in mass production build-out and new model launch activities to ensure quality and accuracy of data.
  • Manage and execute project-related activities through a specified action plan to ensure project strategy and activity are completed in a comprehensive and timely manner.
  • Lead and participate in department initiatives such as business planning, loss elimination, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain professional communication networks with other facilities to share best practices and reduce duplicate workload.
Requirements
  • Business-related degree or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management or manufacturing.
  • Critical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and projects in order of importance.
  • Willingness to take initiative and solid organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Project management capability.
