Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team at DaVita Inc. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, and educating patients on kidney dialysis-related topics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team
  • Assist with patient education on kidney dialysis-related topics
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work a full-time variable schedule with rotating Saturday shifts
  • Ability to work as early as 4:30am
  • Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb
  • Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet
