Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Early Intervention Specialist to join our team at Sevita. As a Therapeutic Early Intervention Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing in-home early intervention services for infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Provide Early Educational Services: Develop and implement individualized plans for a caseload of infant/toddlers with disabilities, including developmental delays and autism spectrum disorders.
  • Administer and Document Assessments: Accurately administer and document program assessments and updates to meet established timelines.
  • Design and Implement Activities: Create and implement activities for language, cognitive, fine and gross motor, sensory, self-help, and social/emotional development, tailored to each child's unique needs.
  • Model Effective Interactions: Demonstrate effective adult-child interactions and provide written information on parenting, child development, and coaching techniques to parents.
  • Monitor and Share Progress: Regularly monitor and document a child's progress, sharing updates with the family and team.
Requirements
  • Bilingual Mandarin: Fluency in Mandarin is a must for this role.
  • Education and Experience: An Associate's degree in Human Services or Child Development, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
  • Applied Behavior Analysis Experience: Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis is a plus.
  • Confidentiality and Relationship-Building: Ability to maintain confidentiality and establish meaningful relationships with families and team members.
  • Scheduling and Flexibility: Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and business needs.
  • Vehicle and Insurance: Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
  • Age and Background Check: Must be at least 18 years old and pass a background investigation, including an FBI/DOJ fingerprint check.
