Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Intervention Specialist to provide play-based ABA therapy to our clients in various settings, including the home, community, school, and clinic. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based strategies to promote positive behavior change.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct implementation of behavior-analytic services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences in 1:1 and group settings.
- Implement positive behavior strategies as developed and analyzed with the BCBA, including antecedent and consequence strategies.
- Work in various settings, including the home, community, school, and clinic, to provide direct behavior-analytic care as determined in the child's assessment and treatment plan.
- Fulfill all documentation requirements, including data collection and session notes.
- Assist with individualized assessment procedures through preference assessments and data collection.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a behavioral health or educational setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Availability to work in the early and late afternoons, with occasional Saturday shifts.
- Current Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) certification, or willingness to obtain BCAT credential within the first 45 days of employment.
- Competitive hourly rate of $28.42.
