Job Summary

This role is responsible for enhancing the overall success of the mall through the implementation of marketing programs, community events, and retailer relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, event planning, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and execution of community events, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Help maintain the mall's website, social media communications, and collateral materials.
  • Work closely with tenants to obtain feedback and quotes after events and promotions.
  • Assist in planning marketing-related meetings, including meetings with retailers, security, and housekeeping staff.
  • Develop and maintain a calendar of events for the property and distribute to tenants.
  • Work with the Marketing Director to ensure seasonal signage and messaging is up to date and in the correct locations.
  • Assist with marketing-related programs, including KidX and special events.
  • Create proof of performance recaps after mall events.
  • Assist with ordering, installing, and setting up holiday decorations.
  • Work with retailers to encourage participation in mall events.
  • Execute administrative support for the mall office, including answering the main office telephone, transferring calls, and taking messages.
  • Assist members of the mall management team with daily administrative tasks.
  • Direct all mall contractors and visitors as needed.

Requirements

  • 13 years of administrative experience in customer service, event planning, or retail.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, contractors, tenants, and the public.
