Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sales Engineer specializing in Particle Analysis Solutions. This role involves engaging with clients across various sectors, primarily focusing on the states of Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico.
Compensation:
The compensation package includes a competitive base salary ranging from $83,800 to $90,100 annually, which is commensurate with prior experience in capital equipment sales, particularly within the relevant industry. Additionally, the commission structure is uncapped, allowing for earnings from the very first sale, along with bonuses for surpassing sales targets.
Benefits:
Our client provides comprehensive benefits, including car and mileage reimbursement, profit-sharing bonuses, and a significant $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years. There is also an opportunity for a sign-on bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and nurturing new client relationships while efficiently managing existing accounts.
- Delivering presentations to diverse audiences, including executive-level stakeholders and technical teams.
- Identifying potential business opportunities, crafting proposals, and successfully closing sales.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- Experience in technical sales, with a preference for those who have sold analytical instruments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation capabilities.
- The ability to work autonomously while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- A bachelor's degree in natural sciences or engineering is preferred.
- Willingness to travel frequently, with up to 75% overnight travel required.
- A valid driver's license and passport.
