CULINARY SUPERVISOR

Position Overview:

As a Culinary Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the effective management of the Culinary Department within a healthcare setting. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the preparation and cooking of a variety of food items, as well as collaborating with the Executive Chef to design and implement daily menus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing budgetary controls and monitoring expenses.
  • Contribute to the planning and development of innovative menu options.
  • Execute catering services and special events.
  • Implement new culinary initiatives in partnership with the marketing and culinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts or a relevant culinary certification.
  • Progressive experience in culinary or kitchen management.
  • Experience in catering is advantageous.
  • Background in high-volume food service operations is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with institutional and batch cooking practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of food trends, quality standards, and presentation techniques.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to engage in client satisfaction initiatives.
  • ServSafe certification is preferred.
