Description

As a Food Runner, you will engage with guests in a professional manner by adhering to Spare Time Entertainment's Service Standards (Code S.E.R.V.E.).

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering food to guests while following the established Steps of Service.
  2. Providing assistance to servers and kitchen personnel to ensure smooth operations.
  3. Helping with food preparation tasks as needed.
  4. Communicating food orders to chefs, while being mindful of priorities and any special requests, such as dietary restrictions.
  5. Reviewing ordered items before leaving the kitchen to ensure accuracy and timely delivery to the correct location.
  6. Ensuring that food is served at the appropriate temperatures and in compliance with safety standards.
  7. Acting as a liaison between Front of House and Back of House staff.
  8. Updating restaurant staff on guest feedback or requests, including when guests request their check.
  9. Assisting wait staff with setting up and breaking down tables for turnover.
  10. Clearing soiled dishes and utensils, while maintaining cleanliness in the dish area.
  11. Polishing and rolling silverware for service.
  12. Ensuring that families with young children receive appropriate menus and utensils.
  13. Promoting knowledge of the venue's features and upcoming events.
  14. Demonstrating familiarity with the menu, enabling you to make recommendations and answer guest inquiries regarding ingredients.
  15. Maintaining clean equipment and work areas by following preventative maintenance protocols in accordance with health department regulations.
  16. Keeping products and areas organized and restocked as necessary, and communicating any inventory shortages to a supervisor.
  17. Reporting any violations to management.
  18. Performing other assigned duties as needed.
