Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to join our International Tax practice at KPMG. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert tax advice to multinational enterprises on business decisions, including tax planning, structuring, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and provide tailored tax solutions to optimize their global operations.

• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with international tax laws.

• Work closely with our Mergers & Acquisition Tax team to structure tax aspects of multinational private equity and strategic mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, dispositions, and IPOs.

• Provide guidance to clients on income tax treaty planning opportunities arising from inbound and outbound cross-border investing and trading activities.

• Assist clients with preparing the tax provision for their financial statements and preparing and/or reviewing compliance work product.

• Collaborate with our audit teams to review a company's financial reporting of tax implications arising from its global operations and transactions.

Requirements:

• Minimum eight years of recent experience working on engagements involving international, mergers and acquisitions, and/or federal tax planning.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM or foreign equivalent.

• Strong research and writing, Excel modeling, and oral communication skills.

• Ability to balance and lead multiple engagements, play a positive role in well-functioning and collegial client service teams, and supervise and assist with the development and training of new and experienced staff professionals.
