About the Role

As a Senior Tax Manager at Andersen Tax LLC, you will oversee and complete tax projects, providing innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance for a variety of clients, including hedge funds, private equity, real estate, fund of funds, and venture capital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in business development activities, including preparing proposals, presenting in webinars, and collaborating with other service lines to market comprehensive tax strategies for prospective clients.
  • Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, remain current on legislative changes, and lead change effectively.
  • Conduct primary and secondary review of complex federal and state tax returns.
  • Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of Seniors, Associates, and Interns.

Requirements

  • 4+ years relevant work experience in an accounting firm, with at least 3 years of Alternative Fund experience.
  • Bachelor's and/or advanced degree; Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree (Preferred).
  • Advanced credential allowing for client representation before the Internal Revenue Service required (CPA or JD).
  • Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient use of technology.

What We Offer

Our firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in New York City, the expected salary range for this role is $145,000 to $248,200; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications.

Compensation

In addition to competitive base compensation, our firm offers annual discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance, a discretionary long-term cash incentive program, and other forms of discretionary compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range scale.
