Vital Research is in search of Remote Field Interviewers to join our team as independent contractors. In this role, you will conduct in-person interviews with older adults as part of our PACE survey initiatives aimed at enhancing participant satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize your personal devices to carry out 15-20 minute phone interviews in a private setting.
- Schedule and organize interviews from Monday to Saturday between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time.
- Exhibit punctuality, work autonomously, and maintain impartiality during interviews.
- Maintain organized records of calls and interviews, updating respondent statuses daily (e.g., completed interviews, scheduled interviews, refusals).
- Foster positive relationships with participants and effectively comprehend their feedback.
- Adhere to confidentiality, federal HIPAA regulations, and data security protocols.
- Regularly communicate with Vital Research using your personal cell phone and email.
- Bilingual proficiency in Vietnamese and English is essential. Applications from non-bilingual candidates will not be considered.
- Comfortable engaging with older adults, demonstrating empathy and sensitivity to issues related to disability, illness, and communication barriers.
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively via email and phone.
- Proficient in using email, managing files, navigating the Internet, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Access to a personal computer or device capable of using MS Excel and browsing the internet.
- Reliable wireless internet connection is required.
- Ability to accurately read, type, and record responses on a computer or laptop.
- Familiarity with structured protocols to ensure compliance with confidentiality and federal HIPAA regulations.
- Availability of 20+ hours per week is necessary.
- Experience with older adults, nursing homes, assisted living, or adult daycare centers is advantageous.
- Prior interviewing experience is preferred.
- $25/hr for training.
- $15/hr for completing 0 to 1 interview.
- $11.00 per completed interview when conducting more than one interview per hour.
