Position Overview:

The Haskell Company is looking for a Project Engineer - Civil to join our dynamic team.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be entrusted with the development of innovative, efficient, and economically viable designs, drawings, and specifications for various projects. You will ensure that all documents prepared under your guidance are professionally registered and signed/sealed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in project strategy discussions, generate design concepts, and propose systems while preparing pricing and proposal documents.
  • Conduct thorough research and ensure compliance with relevant codes, ordinances, standards, and regulations in your design work.
  • Oversee the technical contributions of junior engineers, designers, technicians, and interns involved in the project.
  • Establish the design foundation for hydrology, hydraulics, site utilities, and erosion control strategies.
  • Produce clear and comprehensive reports on stormwater management, water demand, and wastewater calculations.
  • Support Construction Project Managers, Superintendents, and Subcontractors by clarifying construction documents and addressing inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in civil engineering design.

Required Skills and Certifications:

  • Active Professional Engineer license.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D (latest version).
  • Experience with stormwater hydrologic and hydraulic design software.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to perform ordinary ambulatory tasks, including standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and lifting light to medium weights (10-50 pounds). Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity are essential, along with the ability to operate equipment and read documents.
