OPPORTUNITY - Senior Civil Site Engineer
The Civil Engineering Team at Cyntergy is dedicated to delivering exceptional and diverse project portfolios by cultivating a robust civil team. This role presents a unique opportunity for an individual to join the Cyntergy Civil Team Leadership Group. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills to address site development civil challenges for clients while also contributing to the civil team's ongoing improvement initiatives, which include establishing design processes, QAQC checklists, and effective production drawing and modeling templates (Civil 3D). The work encompasses a variety of projects at local, regional, and national levels, serving a wide range of clients including Federal Government, Local Municipalities, Retail, Commercial, Healthcare, and Industrial sectors.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Senior Civil Site Engineer
The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for the technical execution of civil engineering site development projects and associated activities, which include:
- Defining project scope
- Conducting feasibility studies
- Developing design proposals
- Creating design narratives and formal engineering reports
- Reviewing specifications and design calculations
- Modeling systems and evaluating geotechnical reports
- Reviewing site surveys and conducting client review meetings
- Participating in city development meetings
- Preparing site construction observation reports
- Documenting formal meetings and responding to construction and bid inquiries
- Collaborating with both in-house and remote teams
The candidate must thrive in a multi-disciplinary team environment, delivering well-coordinated projects within established timelines and budgets. Occasional local, regional, and national travel may be required for the purpose of documenting existing conditions.

SKILLS - Senior Civil Site Engineer
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Familiarity with current design trends and local codes
- Knowledge of Federal Facility Criteria Whole Building Design Guide
- Understanding of industry standards for civil and design illustration
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prepare project proposals, including fee estimations
- Willingness to accommodate overnight travel by car and air
- Effective communication with clients and potential clients
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3-D software
