OPPORTUNITY - Senior Civil Site Engineer
The Civil Engineering Team at Cyntergy is actively expanding its portfolio of challenging and diverse projects. This role offers a unique opportunity for an individual to join the leadership group of the Cyntergy Civil Team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise to address site development challenges for clients while also contributing to the continuous improvement of the civil team by establishing effective design processes, quality assurance checklists, and robust production drawing and modeling templates (Civil 3D). The projects will vary in scope, serving a wide range of clients including Federal Government, Local Municipalities, Retail, Commercial, Healthcare, and Industrial sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Senior Civil Site Engineer
The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for the technical execution of civil engineering site development projects, which includes:
- Defining project scope and conducting feasibility studies
- Developing design proposals and narratives
- Preparing formal engineering reports and specifications
- Performing design calculations and system modeling
- Reviewing geotechnical reports and site surveys
- Facilitating client review meetings and city development discussions
- Documenting site construction observations and formal meeting notes
- Responding to construction and bid inquiries
- Collaborating with both in-house and remote teams
The candidate must excel in a multi-disciplinary team environment, ensuring timely delivery of well-coordinated projects within budget constraints. Occasional travel may be required for site assessments.

SKILLS - Senior Civil Site Engineer
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Knowledge of current design trends and local regulations
- Familiarity with Federal Facility Criteria Whole Building Design Guide
- Understanding of industry standards for civil design illustration
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prepare project proposals and estimate fees
- Willingness to travel overnight by car and air
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3-D software
