Computer Science Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced instructor to join our Computer Science department at Foothill College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of college-level courses in data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other areas of computer science.
Responsibilities:- Teach a range of computer science courses, including data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
- Motivate and encourage students to achieve academic success.
- Support program planning and develop goals and metrics for student learning outcomes.
- Support student success in STEM by promoting the use of STEM Learning Resource Center and college-wide academic supports.
- Engage in professional contributions on the Foothill campus throughout the academic year.
- Master's degree in computer science or computer engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with data science and machine learning.
- Strong teaching and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
The successful candidate will work in an indoor office environment and will be required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. The ability to lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds is also required.
