Foothill De Anza Community College District is seeking a qualified part-time Computer Science Instructor to join our team. As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching computer science courses and contributing to the academic success of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach computer science courses, including introductory and advanced courses, as assigned by the department chair.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic success.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and technologies.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in computer science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of computer science concepts and curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive environment.
This is a part-time, non-tenure track position. The successful candidate will be required to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
