Job Overview:
As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and execution of innovative IoT applications, robotics, and automation systems across various sectors including building and industrial automation.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing IoT solutions, robotics, and automation systems.
  • Conducting testing and commissioning of automation projects.
  • Providing technical support and customer service.
  • Programming PLCs and SCADA/HMI systems.
  • Ensuring effective documentation and training for users.
In this role, you will also be expected to provide ad-hoc engineering support to clients as needed.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this position, you should possess:
  • A relevant degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computing, or Mechatronics).
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in engineering practices, process automation, or robotics. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Hands-on experience with IoT implementations.
  • Knowledge of building automation and process control systems.
  • Experience with BMS, PLC, and HMI systems, including onsite commissioning.
  • Strong technical skills in Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC programming, as well as SCADA systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in hardware configuration and software coding.
  • IT knowledge related to server/client infrastructures.
  • Understanding of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • A customer-oriented mindset with strong analytical thinking.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to collaborate well within a team and provide constructive feedback.
  • Capability to interact effectively with vendors.
  • A proactive approach, able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on short notice and work outside of regular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
