Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the master production schedule to guarantee uninterrupted plant operations.
  • Optimize project planning, execution, and oversight.
  • Track customer orders and collaborate with Project Managers to align production capabilities with customer expectations.
  • Supervise and manage scope variations.
  • Identify critical paths and resolve conflicts related to resources, material availability, and manufacturing challenges.
  • Assist in managing inventory effectively.
  • Communicate the production schedule regularly with the Production Manager and Project Managers, including leading review meetings to discuss project status and customer requirements.
  • Generate scheduling and materials reports to pinpoint material shortages, customer shipment challenges, and labor needs.
  • Foster interdepartmental collaboration among procurement, materials management, and production teams to ensure accurate lead times, inventory levels, and warehouse management for order fulfillment.
  • Monitor and enhance the scheduling process continuously.
  • Review the 90-day production schedule and proactively address workforce, materials, and shipping challenges with the leadership team.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in production planning is essential.
  • Strong analytical, time management, interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google products, particularly Excel/Sheets, with a capacity to learn new software swiftly.
  • Experience with scheduling and demand planning software (MRP/ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, Acumatica) is preferred.
  • Eager to learn, with strong listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A highly motivated self-starter who consistently demonstrates professionalism and is willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • A team player who maintains a positive attitude and strives for continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
  • Experience in manufacturing (preferably in metal or electrical manufacturing) with a solid understanding of material flows.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards is a plus.
  • Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of standing, walking, stooping, and bending for extended periods.
  • Requires consistent use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
  • Willingness to undergo background and drug testing.

Compensation:
Salary range is between $65,000 and $85,000, inclusive of Restricted Stock Units. Compensation will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment.
