Role Summary:
The Manufacturing Production Scheduler plays a crucial role in developing and overseeing the master production schedule, collaborating with various internal teams to guarantee timely project initiation and completion.


Daily Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain the master production schedule to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
  • Optimize project planning, execution, and control processes.
  • Track customer orders and collaborate with Project Managers to align customer expectations with production capabilities.
  • Monitor and manage variations in project scope.
  • Identify critical paths and resolve conflicts related to resources, material availability, and manufacturing challenges.
  • Assist in managing inventory effectively.
  • Communicate the production schedule regularly with the Production Manager and Project Managers, including leading review meetings to discuss project status, customer needs, and any delays.
  • Generate scheduling and materials reports to identify shortages, shipment issues, and labor requirements.
  • Foster cooperation across departments, including procurement, materials management, and production, to ensure accurate lead times, inventory levels, and warehouse management for order fulfillment.
  • Continuously monitor and enhance the scheduling process.
  • Review the 90-day production schedule and proactively address workforce, materials, and shipping challenges with the leadership team.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in production planning is essential.
  • Strong analytical, time management, interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google products (especially Excel/Sheets) with the ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Experience with scheduling and demand planning software (MRP/ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, Acumatica) is preferred.
  • A willingness to learn, along with strong listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A self-motivated individual who consistently demonstrates professionalism and is open to taking on additional responsibilities.
  • A team player who maintains a positive attitude and strives for continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
  • Manufacturing experience, particularly in metal or electrical manufacturing, with a solid understanding of material flows.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards is a plus.
  • Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Capacity to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
  • Requires frequent use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
  • Willingness to undergo background and drug testing.

Compensation:
Compensation ranges from $65,000 to $85,000, including Restricted Stock Units. The final compensation will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment.
