Job Overview

Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer II plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional solutions and support throughout the production process of control valves. This position serves as the primary technical resource for the manufacturing teams, tasked with swiftly addressing challenges and proposing innovative production strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the needs of the production team and offering expert guidance and solutions.
  • Developing testing protocols and operational manuals.
  • Evaluating technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Providing support for troubleshooting during product testing phases.
  • Responding to technical inquiries post-sale.
  • Collaborating with management to facilitate process enhancements.
  • Executing additional tasks as required by the team.

Required Capabilities:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to devise solutions to complex problems.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in documenting specifications.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing daily production demands with larger upgrades.
  • Team-oriented mindset with effective collaboration skills.
  • Composure and patience while working under pressure.
  • Fostering interdepartmental relationships to enhance production support.

Essential Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3-6 years in a manufacturing or related role, with a preference for experience in Air Valves or Hydraulic Control Valves.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Visio and Office Suite; experience with SolidWorks is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Troubleshooting Experience: Background in technical troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Hydraulic Knowledge: Relevant experience or education in hydraulics is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform various physical activities, including walking, sitting, standing, squatting, and kneeling for extended periods.
  • Good hand-eye coordination for precise tasks.
  • Capability to use a computer for prolonged durations.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 30 lbs.
