About this Role:

This position will design and implement a comprehensive executive and internal communication program for a member of the Corporate Risk Leadership Team. The individual contributor in this role will develop a strategic communications plan in alignment with business objectives to foster engagement, drive business results, and enhance Wells Fargo's reputation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic counselor to a member of the Risk Leadership Team, providing expert guidance on internal and external communications.
  • Develop and implement communications strategies and plans that drive business priorities, ensuring integrated communications across executive, internal, and external channels.
  • Write and edit key messages, talking points, and other content to inform target audiences, promoting executive thought leadership and key initiatives.
  • Identify strategic storytelling opportunities that promote executive(s) and key initiatives, leveraging various communication channels to maximize impact.
  • Work with the leader's direct reports to ensure their messaging aligns with business objectives, fostering a cohesive and effective communication strategy.
  • Identify executive advocacy, internal speaking, and/or social media opportunities to amplify the executive's message and promote key initiatives.
  • Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes, providing data-driven insights to inform future communications strategies.
  • Partner with communicators to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging, promoting a unified brand voice and message.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in Public Relations, Media Relations, or Corporate Communications, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience developing integrated executive communications strategies and plans, leveraging various communication channels to drive business results.
  • Experience counseling executives on high-profile issues and delivering internal communications, promoting a strong and effective communication strategy.
  • Experience designing executive thought leadership platforms, showcasing the executive's expertise and promoting key initiatives.
  • Experience writing stories across various social, internal, and digital channels, engaging target audiences and promoting executive thought leadership.
  • Experience building strong relationships and collaborating across large organizations, fostering a cohesive and effective communication strategy.
  • Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades and influences decision-makers, promoting key initiatives and driving business results.
